Important Instructions

  • Reach the venue at least one hour before 9:00 AM with all original documents - candidates not interested in the post must inform the office in writing.

  • All certificates must have been issued on or before 29 November 2024 (the online application closing date) - certificates issued even one day later will not be considered.

  • Bring self-attested photocopies of every original. Photocopies alone are not accepted.

  • No travel allowance, daily allowance or other reimbursement is paid for attending the verification or skill test.

  • Reservation will be considered only as claimed in the original online application; subsequent changes are not allowed and will lead to rejection.

  • Producing wrong information or fake / forged certificates is grounds for criminal proceedings against the candidate.

  • The skill test is conducted on a computer using a software link supplied by the institution, and a Kannada keyboard layout has been provided in Annexure-2 of the notice.

  • Receiving the call letter does not mean selection - only after document verification and the skill test is selection finalised.

  • Candidates absent on 11 February 2025 are not given a second chance for verification or the typing test.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Reporting late. Candidates who arrive after 9:00 AM may be denied entry; plan for traffic and reach the venue by 8:00 AM.

  • Caste certificate dated after 29 November 2024. This is the most common rejection reason - the certificate must carry an issue date on or before 29 November 2024 from a competent Tahsildar.

  • Wrong PwD certificate format. A general hospital disability slip is not enough - only the siasusi 115 seni 2005 format with three medical officers and the medical superintendent's seal is accepted.

  • Bringing only photocopies. Originals are required for verification; photocopies alone do not qualify.

  • Skipping the email confirmation. A reply to kla-dra1-ka@gov.in confirming receipt of the notice is mandatory - silent receipt is not enough.

  • No practice on the official typing software. The skill test runs on a specific software with a Kannada keyboard layout. Candidates who skip the practice link risk failing the qualifying mark.
