• Video Editor / Videographer - 10+2 from a recognised board; Degree or Diploma in Film and Video Editing from a recognised university; minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant field.

• CG Operator (Urdu) - 10+2 from a recognised board; certificate in computer application; workable knowledge of Urdu language. Desirable: 1 year of experience in the field.

• Editorial Assistant (Urdu) - Bachelor's degree from a recognised university; Degree or PG Diploma in Journalism / Mass Communication from a recognised university; minimum 3 years of experience in news broadcasting or news organisation work. Desirable: matriculation in the relevant language and acquaintance with regional / national / international affairs.

• Copy Editor (Urdu) - Bachelor's degree from a recognised university; Degree or PG Diploma in Journalism / Mass Communication; 3 years of experience in the relevant field; proficiency in Urdu.

• Website Assistant - Bachelor's degree from a recognised university; Diploma in Journalism / Mass Communication from a recognised university. Desirable: exposure to new-media operations or proven aptitude in the field.

Across all posts, applicants must be of Indian origin. Residents of Patna will normally be considered, since RNU Patna does not pay any travel allowance for tests or interviews.

Vacancy Details

The notification empanels candidates for the following eight categories. The exact number of assignments per category is not fixed and depends on operational requirement, with each empanelled person eligible for a maximum of seven assignments in a calendar month.

Selection Process
