About the CRPF Correction Window 2026
The correction notice has been issued by the Directorate General of the Central Reserve Police Force, signed on 12 May 2026 by Shri Prashant Dar, DIG (Recruitment). It refers back to the original Advertisement / Notification dated 08 April 2026 for the post of Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer)-2026 and the amendment notice dated 17 April 2026.
Many candidates had requested CRPF to allow corrections in their online application form after the closing date for receipt of online applications. In response, CRPF has provided an additional 3-day window — from 21 May 2026 to 23 May 2026 — during which candidates can correct or modify parameters in their one-time online application form and re-submit the application with the required changes.

Who Can Use the Correction Window
Only those candidates will be allowed to make corrections in the online application form whose earlier completed online application, along with payment of the requisite fee where applicable, has been received within the specified period laid down in the 08 April 2026 advertisement and the 17 April 2026 amendment. Candidates who did not submit a completed application or did not pay the applicable fee within that original window cannot use this 3-day window to file a fresh application.
The latest modified or corrected online application form submitted during 21 to 23 May 2026 will be treated as final. No further corrections will be allowed under any circumstances after the window closes on 23 May 2026.
What Candidates Should Do During 21 to 23 May 2026
The window is meant for parameter-level corrections in the one-time online application form data. Affected candidates should log in to the CRPF recruitment portal, open their already-submitted Constable (Technical & Tradesmen and Pioneer)-2026 application, review every field, make the required corrections or changes, and resubmit before the window shuts on 23 May 2026.
Because only the latest resubmitted version will be treated as final, candidates should verify every modified field — name, date of birth, category, post and trade preference, communication details, photograph and signature — before clicking the final submit button. A second correction will not be possible after 23 May 2026.
Important Instructions
The correction window is open only from 21 May 2026 to 23 May 2026; no further extension or reopening will be considered.
Only candidates whose original application plus applicable fee were received within the period specified in the 08 April 2026 advertisement and the 17 April 2026 amendment are eligible to make corrections.
Once a candidate resubmits the modified application, the latest version is final. CRPF will not entertain any further corrections under any circumstances.
The correction notice itself does not change vacancies, eligibility, post details or selection process — those continue to be governed by the original Advertisement / Notification dated 08 April 2026 and the amendment notice dated 17 April 2026.
